Nathan O’Driscoll looks set to remain anchored in Fremantle with the wingman on the verge of signing a new two-year deal despite reported interest from Port Adelaide.

O’Driscoll played just two games for the Dockers this season after struggling with persistent knee injuries sparked by a blood clot in his knee.

However, he impressed as the sub against GWS before gathering 20 disposals and against the Power in the final two games of the season.

Sources told The West Australian earlier this month Port Adelaide were keen to lure O’Driscoll out of his home state but it appears the Dockers have struck first with Seven’s Ryan Daniels reporting the club has offered a two-year deal to the 22-year-old.

O’Driscoll has played 24 games since being drafted with pick No.27 in 2020, including a career-high 12 games in 2022, where he averaged 15 touches and kicked 10 goals in a wing role.

Should he sign on it would leave fellow winger Ethan Stanley, ruckman Max Knobel, ruck forward Odin Jones and forward Tom Emmett as the only Dockers without a deal next season.
