Leganes, Valencia play to goalless draw in La Liga
Newly promoted Leganes have played out a goalless draw at home to Valencia to extend their winless La Liga streak to seven matches.
Both sides have scored only 10 goals between them this season and there was little in the way of goalmouth action in a lacklustre match in central Spain on Friday.
There were no shots on target in an insipid first half and although Leganes pushed forward in the second period, the closest they came to scoring was when Oscar's shot ricocheted off the post.
"You've got to get three points at home but we have to value one," Leganes midfielder Juan Cruz said.
Leganes sit 15th in the table while Valencia remain third from bottom. Valencia have recorded just one win from their last 16 league matches.
