Waalitj Marawar (West Coast) star Elliot Yeo will return against the club reportedly chasing his signature in Kuwarna (Adelaide) after being named to make the trip.

Yeo has not played since the round eight loss to Essendon because of a minor groin injury but the ailment hasn’t stopped him being in the headlines.

The dual John Worsfold medallist is out-of-contract and an unrestricted free agent and his red-hot start to the season has led to plenty of interest for the inside midfielder — including from the Crows who are reportedly offering Yeo a three-year deal worth more than $2m.

This is believed to be well below the Eagles’ offer of a two-year deal on a lot less money, with Yeo now left to make a tough decision unless he decides to take a lesser deal because of loyalty.

Yeo’s is joined by possible debutant Clay Hall, veteran Andrew Gaff and tall defender Harry Edwards in the 26-man squad that has been named to take on the Crows at Adelaide Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Midfielder Luke Edwards has been dropped to take on the side his father Tyson played 321 games for in the Crows after picking up only six touches in the win over Narrm (Melbourne) last weekend.

The Crows are without star forward Izak Rankine because of a hamstring injury, while forward-ruck Elliott Himmelberg is out after having surgery to repair a fractured cheekbone.

Key defender James Borlase has been named at half-back, while former Gold Coast forward Chris Burgess is named in the pocket for what looks to be his fifth game for the Crows.

Midfielder Harry Schoenberg also looks set for a return after being named in the middle, while Kieran Strachan and Sam Berry have been named on an extended bench.
