West Coast have revealed their newest kit and it’s fair to say fans are divided with some questioning whether or not it’s an April Fool’s stunt.

The Eagles have revealed their new ‘Electric Eagle’ guernsey, which the club says fuses heritage design with a fresh ‘electric yellow.’

It sees the traditional Eagle design return with an updated colour scheme while also offering long sleeve and track jackets as part of the collection.

However, the new design has been met with a mixed response from fans with some liking the retro feel but left disappointed it doesn’t lean more into their heritage.

“If this isn’t an April fool’s joke then this is putrid,” one fan wrote on X.

“I cannot get behind this,” another wrote on Instagram, “Are we sponsored by temu rip offs or something what is this?” another said.

However, others rated the kit with some reading into Reuben Ginbey being posed alongside Liam Duggan instead of fellow Co-captain Oscar Allen.

“I genuinely dig this. Not an Eagles fan but I’d consider copping one of these,” one user said.

“If only we played as good as our kits looked,” “Goes Incredibly hard,” others said.

“Love Ginbey new co-captain there, full of passion!” “Ginbey the beast !! Hmm interesting no Oscar.”

Allen has come under fire after it was revealed he met with Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell after their derby loss to Fremantle, where he struggled.

It has led to calls for Allen to step down as captain with his future at the club under a cloud.

The new kits are available for members to purchase now before being open to the rest of the public tomorrow.
