Snap-happy PhotoWalkers capture the essence of Fremantle
On Tuesday, a group of snap-happy phone photographers joined Travel lead photographer Mogens Johansen and Travel editor Stephen Scourfield for one of our popular PhotoWalk with Phones events around Fremantle.
The PhotoWalks are specifically tailored by Mogens and Stephen to help participants get the most out of their smartphones and to teach them photographic techniques that will improve the look of their pictures.
The PhotoWalk centred around Bathers Beach and Fishing Boat Harbour where the enthusiastic group practised using smartphone camera features like the Portrait and Panorama modes as well as various composition techniques.
The challenge was to create a nice set of pictures that captured the essence of Fremantle, and that goal was well and truly achieved as our PhotoWalkers unleashed their creativity. Here’s a selection of their pictures, with apologies to those who missed out.
You can find other PhotoWalk with Phones events at westtravelclub.com.au/events. The next one is at Guildford on Thursday May 2. The events are limited to 20 people and cost $50 to attend.
