The Aboriginal People’s Gallery at Parliament House played host to a range of special guests for the Premier’s Reading Challenge awards presentation.
Minister for Education Tony Buti was joined by Premier Roger Cook to hand out the prestigious trophies.
The program saw more than 810 schools participate in 2023 with over 23,200 students powering through more than 360,000 books.
Harley Grey and Mia Grey from Baynton West Primary School, Maisha Kshetri from Burrendah Primary School and Priyasha Kshetri from Willetton Senior High School took out the win for most books read in their respective age groups.
