Man jailed for Porsche theft

A Leda man has been imprisoned for 18 months after pleading guilty to stealing a Porsche from a Mosman Park home and leading police on a high-speed chase.

Jamy Ryan Addison, 26, admitted to stealing the Porsche Cayenne earlier this month and he was sighted driving the vehicle in Kwinana in the early hours of last Thursday morning about 12.15am.

Police say he failed to stop when requested and eluded officers.

About 12.40am the vehicle was again seen on Gilmore Avenue in Kwinana and Mr Addison again failed to stop for officers.

A chase through Kwinana, Medina, Orelia and Hope Valley ensued, with the police helicopter leading officers to apprehend him and the vehicle on Rockingham Road.
